Game Prototype "Skerry"
I made this first person roguelike as a one person army in Unity 4 and later 5. This lengthy project really got me into procedual generation and randomization. I wrote an algorithm creating an endless world made up from islands in realtime, playable without loading screens. The placement of every object and even the shape of some plants like palmtrees is influenced by random patterns. The project also helped me to find a look that suited my personal style and was abstract enough to let me make all assets myself. Skerry is about an undead pirate captain trying to get his revenge on the King of Vikings, who killed him. He journeys around the deserted islands absorbing the powers of the Lord of each archipelago, like the Vampire, the Werewolf, or the Mummy Lord.
